Step into a world of colour and sweetness with Sugar Rush on the ST996 platform. A unique 7×7 grid, a thrilling Tumble Feature, chain multipliers, and irresistible free spins — all packed into one of the most exciting slots in the ST996 collection.
Sugar Rush is a candy-themed video slot developed by Pragmatic Play, now available on the ST996 as one of the most popular slots among Malaysian players. The game's backdrop is bursting with bright colours, chocolates, lollipops, jelly sweets, and all manner of eye-catching confectionery – making it one of the most visually delightful slots you'll find at ST996.
What truly sets Sugar Rush apart from conventional slots at ST996 is the exceptionally wide 7×7 grid, which dwarfs the standard 5×3 slot layout. On a grid this size, the candy symbols that land must form a cluster of at least 8 identical adjacent symbols — touching horizontally or vertically — to generate a win. This "cluster pays" system means there are no fixed paylines to follow; instead, you're watching for large groups of matching symbols to form anywhere on the grid.
Once a winning combination is formed, the winning symbols are removed from the grid and new symbols drop down to fill the empty spaces from above – this is what's known as the Tumble Feature. As long as new wins keep forming after each tumble, the process continues at no extra cost within the same spin. This means a single spin at ST996 can produce 5, 10, or even more consecutive cascades, with the multiplier growing after every single cascade!
RTP of Sugar Rush at ST996 is 96.5% with high volatility — meaning you may go through more spins without a major win, but when a win does hit — especially during Free Spins mode — it can be spectacularly rewarding.

Every successful cascade fills the meter. Reach each level to unlock sweeter, bigger rewards!
Each consecutive cascade increases the multiplier. The longer the chain, the bigger the reward!
This is what sets Sugar Rush apart from every other slot you've ever played at ST996.
With 49 symbol positions, Sugar Rush uses a cluster pays system that requires 8 or more matching symbols to be connected in order to form a win. The wider grid means more winning possibilities with every spin.
After every win, the winning symbols are removed and replaced by new ones falling from above. This process repeats continuously as long as new wins keep forming — meaning a single spin can produce dozens of consecutive wins at no extra cost!
Every consecutive cascade automatically increases the multiplier — the first cascade is ×1, the second ×2, the third ×3, and so on. During free spins, the multiplier does not reset between rounds, meaning winnings can climb to truly staggering figures.
Land 3 or more Scatter symbols to unlock free spins. Here's the exciting part — cascade multipliers do not reset between individual free spins! This means multipliers keep accumulating throughout the entire free spins round.
An exclusive meter that fills with every cascade. Five meter levels award different prizes — from bonus multipliers all the way up to the Grand Sugar Jackpot worth a full 5,000×, the dream of every slot player at ST996.
Sugar Rush at ST996 runs flawlessly on all Android and iOS mobile devices. The colourful 7×7 grid animations are completely lag-free, delivering a gaming experience on par with desktop — wherever you are in Malaysia.

If you've ever asked friends who enjoy playing slots at ST996, there's a good chance Sugar Rush will come up in the conversation. It's not just one or two players who are hooked on this candy-themed slot – many Malaysian players admit that Sugar Rush has a way of drawing you in and keeping you playing, even when you'd planned to stop after just ten spins.
The secret behind Sugar Rush's popularity at ST996 is built around the most addictive mechanic in Malaysia's online slot world — the Tumble Feature. Imagine hitting the spin button and watching a massive cluster of rainbow lollipops form right in the centre of the 7×7 grid. Before you can even jump out of your seat to cheer, those symbols vanish and fresh ones cascade down from above. A new cluster forms, and the multiplier climbs to ×2. More symbols fall, another cluster takes shape, and the multiplier hits ×3. All of this unfolds within seconds, and by the time the round ends, you could be looking at 6 or 7 consecutive cascades with an ever-growing multiplier — all from a single spin.
Real experiences shared by our players ST996 illustrates just how dramatic Sugar Rush's Free Spins mode can get. A player from Melaka once shared their experience betting RM 2 per spin while Free Spins were active. On the 7th spin, a consecutive cascade chain kicked in and didn't stop until 9 cascades — with the multiplier reaching ×15 on the final cascade. The winnings from that single spin alone exceeded RM 3,800. That is the true potential of Sugar Rush when everything comes together perfectly.
What makes Sugar Rush at ST996 compared to other high-volatility slots is how this game builds tension gradually. You can go 20, 30 spins without a massive win – but throughout that time, the Sugar Rush Meter is quietly filling up, little by little, with every cascade that occurs. As the meter edges closer to its peak, a deeply satisfying sense of anticipation builds – the feeling that something big is just around the corner. And when the meter finally fills and a big cascade hits, the payoff is something that feels completely different from any other slot.
On the financial side, ST996 makes everything straightforward for Malaysian players. You can top up your credits with ease using Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost or ShopeePay which most Malaysians already use in their everyday lives. For those who prefer a direct transfer from their bank account, DuitNow is an incredibly fast and convenient option. Online banking via FPX with Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks is also available and processed in under a minute. All transactions are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) without any currency conversion hassle.
One aspect that is often overlooked yet critically important for Malaysian players at ST996 is just how well Sugar Rush performs on mobile. The ST996 platform is fully optimised for mobile play, and Sugar Rush — with its vibrant 7×7 grid — runs smoothly with no graphic glitches or lag, even on mid-range Android devices. This means you can enjoy every cascade in full, crisp animation without interruption — whether you're at home, on your lunch break, or waiting for a friend at a café.
Players ST996 who play Sugar Rush among those active in the e-sports community or who enjoy watching Malaysia Super League and EPL football matches in the evening often say that Sugar Rush is the perfect slot to play while waiting for kick-off. It doesn't demand your full attention, yet the cascade win pulses that hit every now and then are more than enough to make the wait feel fun and worthwhile.
For new players who have just registered at ST996 and you'd like to try Sugar Rush, our recommendation is to start with the minimum bet of RM 0.20 and take some time to understand how the Tumble Feature and cluster pays system work. The more familiar you are with the game's mechanics, the more you'll appreciate those thrilling moments when they arrive – and the better placed you'll be to decide when to adjust your bet size.
